Veeam hat Investitionskapital von 500 Millionen US-Dollar erhalten. Geldgeber sind ein Risikokapitalgeber und ein Hedge Fonds. Mit dem Geld will Veeam expandieren.

Veeam hat Investitionskapital in der Höhe von 500 Millionen US-Dollar erhalten. Laut Mitteilung kommt das Geld von zwei Investoren: Insight Venture Partners, ein US-amerikanischer VC-Fonds und der kanadische Hedge Fonds Canada Pension Plan Investment Board. Mit dem Kapital will Veeam expandieren.
Einer der Investoren hat einen Sitz in Veeams Verwaltungsrat bekommen. Michael Triplett, Managing Director bei Insight Venture Partners, zog in das Gremium ein, wie es in der Mitteilung heisst.
